Title IX: Sexual 骚扰, Misconduct, and Assault

Title IX and Sexual 骚扰

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law that prohibits sex discrimination in education. 它写着:

Title IX prohibits discrimination based on sex in educational programs and activities that receive Federal financial assistance.  Examples of programs and activities that are subject to Title IX include admissions, 招聘, 金融援助, 学术项目, 体育运动, 住房和就业.  Title IX also protects 学生 from sexual harassment, 包括性暴力, 比如强奸, 其他形式的性侵犯, sexual battery and sexual coercion.
